Welcome to NAP (The Nirvana for the Asylum Patient)
I am currently in my last year of my Honours Bachelor of Fine Arts, and about to head into the real world. This blog is about my art, the art world as I learn it and my biggest inspiration; life.
It’s about art, business, what’s “in” and how do i get there? How my health affects my art and how art affects me. Art and life are too closely tied, so what are the hazards? it’s a constant balance between being sane and crazy, being fearless and wise, being the fool and the one to bring things into light. Just the act of trying to balance brings Nirvana, a state of knowing, accepting and content. Just being an artist makes you think like very few, hence you are insane. I am one patient of many, and this is blog is inspired by the Nirvana for the Asylum Patient.
